Roger Burns "Moments: Time & Space"

Gallery 550 is pleased to invite you to Roger Burns First Solo Exhibition, opening night on Thursday 23/02/23 from 6:00pm-8:00pm, the exhibition will be running until 08/03/23.

Roger Burns paints in a hard-edge abstract style, His geometric components are executed with mathematic precision, a product of his professional passion for architecture.

His meticulous brushwork fills every canvas with energy-saturated “sun-splashed” colours intuitively arranged to explore notions such as “Home”, “Love”, “House”, “Family”, “Sex” and “Distance”.

Roger's compelling compositions invite infinite subjective analysis, from the simplest to the most complicated, but somehow, their core ideas are also universally recognisable.
